Brugge Plus respects the privacy of users to its website.

Brugge Plus fully complies with the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 concerning the processing of personal data, amended by the law of 11 December 1998, which takes account of the European directive of 24 October 1995. Furthermore, we follow the guidelines of the new European privacy legislation, the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). This regulation takes effect from 25 May 2018.

How do we collect your data?

When you subscribe to our weekly newsletter UiT in Bruges.

We store the following information

Personally identifiable information such as your name, address, telephone number and email address are required/obliged/mandatory. Personal details, such as your age, sex and personal interests are optional. The organiser records the data that visitors provide when registering in the Brugge Plus vzv database.

This allows us to see which site you have come from, the purpose for which you have used our site, or which site you go to when you leave our site. We use this data for statistical purposes and it serves purely for tailoring the use of the ticket website to users. This enables us to improve the user experience.

Your data is stored in a highly secured data centre that is managed by the supplier of website. This supplier is not able to use your data under any circumstances.

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters, you can unsubscribe using the link in the email you received containing the newsletter. Alternatively, you can email us. We will then remove you from our mailing list.

You can opt to have all of your data removed from our database. (Anonymisation)
