Start your summer with Feest in ‘t Park

On 24 June, Minnewater Park will once again be the setting for a cosy festival featuring concerts, workshops, world food, Fair Trade products and so much more.

During the free festival you can find out about the activities of numerous global partners, NGOs and fourth pillar organisations. Sustainability is always at the heart of the event. This year, we focus on two aspects of the importance of water: aquatic life and clean water and sanitation.

On the stage, the party will really get going with exciting grooves and beats by top national and international artists.

Towards a more sustainable world together

The festival offers an original, interactive platform for learning about Agenda 2030’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Agenda 2030 is a UN policy aim backed by countries worldwide who want to make the world a better place.

The festival focuses on a different objective every year. This year, the theme is water where we focus on two SDG’s

SDG 6: Clean water and sanitation

SDG 6 aims to promote sustainable water management and ensure access to water and sanitation for all.

SDG 14: life below water

SDG 14 aims to protect, conserve and make sustainable our use of the oceans, seas and marine life.

During Feest in ’t Park, we shine a light on the various issues and propose targeted actions that we can all apply in our daily lives. In this way, you learn to contribute to the conservation of, and access to, clean water for billions of people.
