World Adventure Meadow i.c.w. SKRIEWER
How Cool is DA? How cool is Da!
The World Adventure Meadow is a place where children are at the helm themselves. In collaboration with Skriewer, a rich and inviting programme is developed, based on their vision: working with, for and by children.
Skriewer follows the Reggio Emilia vision in which children are seen as competent and creative individuals with a natural urge to discover.
Skriewer’s Vision:
Skriewer gives children:
TIME:
Children get the ‘playtime’ they deserve. In complete freedom. They schedule their own time and decide how long they play (with) something. There is time for rest and boredom.
SPACE:
Children are given the ‘playtime’ they need.
They are given the opportunity to arrange it themselves. The outdoor space is an important play area.
MATERIALS:
The children are given interesting ‘play materials’ that challenge them to play creatively.
Preference is given to natural materials. They are provided with various tools to manipulate these materials. The World Adventure Meadow and the climate theme
The World Adventure Meadow also responds to the climate theme within the various domains, has an eye for the global vision of Feest in ‘t Park and integrates it in a playful way for the children.
In the World Adventure Meadow, every corner is a discovery. Skriewer transforms the meadow into a vibrant play area with room for the different domains of Play, Nature, Feast, Language and yet ‘Of Everything’!
From colourful Hapa Zome to textile workshop, the World Adventure Meadow welcomes every child to discover, build and be amazed. Enter the Play caravan, dive into the Sandbox container, dance silently in the Silent disco or discover Ravotorium on the road.
Build giant papier-mâché plants together, get your face painted, listen to enchanting Vietnamese storytelling and learn about the tetter counter. Here, fantasy becomes reality and play becomes an adventure.Climate Regions
